What is Fallen Kingdom?
Fallen Kingdom is a fantasy Project Sekai Alternate Universe(AU) created by Anoddpseudonym. The story follows along with the main cast of Project Sekai as they face challenges of Corrupt governments, Royal disputes, Arena battles, Secret organizations, and so much more.The main character is played by a self insert with a set background. You are the previous head Knight of Basquivoid (Vivid Bad Squad's kingdom), before you were imprisoned. Basquivoid
Toya: Prince Toya, once the prodigy of his father's iron-fisted rule, shattered under the weight of impossible perfection. His rebellion began with betrayal, showing his mentor Duke Ken what true fear felt like. Soon after he slaughtered his father, his corpse now rots on a grotesque throne of bones. Once claimed the throne, he immediately put his plans of total dictatorship into action. When that wasn’t enough for him, he tried to ascend to godhood, though he was told he had lost the morals they had bestowed upon him, cursing him to be a lowly demon. His kingdom festers in fascist decay, its glory replaced by gladiatorial pits. His childhood friends, An, Akito, Kohane, and You, now torn apart, only leaving Akito by his side.You (in Basquivoid): When Toya was first in the beginnings of his take over he had heard plans of a rebellion, held by none other than You, the head of the kingdom’s knights. You demanded back the land however, Toya with the snap of his fingers wiped out more than half of your army, leaving the rest hurt and fearful. You wouldn't give up, but in the end Toya brought you to you knees, forcing you to surrender. Now you are imprisoned, Along with the rest of the prisoners who defied him.An: Once a Close friend of Toya, now forced to fight in the Arena for the wealthy to gawk over. She despises Toya for killing her father, holding hatred as her final defense. She keeps Kohane and You close, though your relationship is not the same as it used to be.Kohane: She was once dreamed of becoming a poet, until her father refused Toya's demand for unconditional loyalty, strung up on the gates with his own ambassadorial sash. After becoming a prisoner with An, she played innocent, letting down others guard. She kept her caring personality, patching up wounded prisoners and sharing food with the weakest among them, yet now she holds distrust. She works under Toya's rule, used to tug at the heart strings of the other nations. Depending on the urgency, he claims will let her go, or will kill her if they don't comply. Which lead to her trading information with other prisoners for a price. She is constantly making plans to help You escape, with no success.Akito: Toya's right hand man. His fall wasn’t sudden, it was a slow rot. The moment he truly snapped wasn’t Ken’s death or even your surrender, it was watching Kohane sob into An's shoulder after Toya branded them traitors. He broke, resenting his friends for their weakness, he vowed to prove that he was stronger. He tries to play the good guy, but in reality he is the one helping cause all of the town's pain. A sadistic man who loves the thrill of watching others reach their breaking point. His favorite prisoner to torment is You. He is enamored with Your determination to escape, wanting to crush all hope himself.
Nocrideth
Mafuyu: Ever since she was little, her mother has controlled every aspect of her life. She was forced to grow up at a young age, her mother disciplining childish behavior. When she turned 12, her mother forced her to build a poison tolerance, forcing her to down a bottle every week. She is immune to most poisons now, but her heart is not. She lost all emotion, becoming an empty husk of a person, acting cold, emotionally reserved. The only person she ever opened up to was Kanade, yet she still kept her distance. After the tragedy, she was forced by her mother to negotiate with Toya. She fakes loyalty, though ensures maximum casualties on both his side and her mothers. The Queen praised her decisions, but Mafuyu feels no comfort in her words. When in Basquivoid for meetings, she frequents the arena, the fights gave her a pit in her stomach, something new she wanted to explore. When she isn't tasked with duty, she secretly escapes into the city from time to time, chatting with common folk at taverns to keep the small connection with the world outside.Kanade: She grew up singing with her mother and often preforming at local taverns with her father. He was a well known bard, but people only cared for Kanade, causing him to grow resentment towards her. When she was 13, her mother died, leaving the family in shambles. Her father quit music, believing he never had talent to begin with. He would often come home and isolate himself from her, but one night returned home drunk, blaming her for her mother's passing along with her outshining him on stage. He yelled, hit, cried, screamed, Then silence. He looked at her grinning, punching himself as she cried and screamed for him to stop, only stopping once he fell unconscious. She rushed him to the capital's clinic, he was still alive, just in a coma he never got out of. She moved to the capital permanently, being deemed the duchess of Nocrideth, and the consort of Princess Mafuyu Asahina. Mafuyu trusted her, telling her troubles and trauma with her mother. Kanade wanted to save the only person she had left. She was not liked by many of the nobels, especially the Queen, being forced to stay away from most people unless needed.Ena: After Akito took over the place of head knight in in Basquivoid, Their father's studio was burnt down in protest. She took on the guilt of her father's studio and Akito's decent to madness, soon becoming angry, the only thing that kept her artistic motivation strong. She had two pen pals ‘K’ and 'Amia’ where she had learned of life outside of Basquivoid. By dawn, she smuggled herself into Nocrideth. Kanade found her weeks later, recognizing Ena's signature as her penpal, bonding all over again. Kanade intoduced her to Mafuyu, leading to an almost instant conflict between them. Even so, Mafuyu was intrigued with Ena’s art, the queen soon hired her as the sole designer for the castle’s courtyards, along with full creative design over the castle. In present day, she works along side mizuki and kanade in an underground rebellion against the queen.Mizuki: Mizuki was born in a traditional village, a place with ridged gender roles. After her mother died, Mizuki was raised by her sister who taught her to express herself. Kanade and Mizuki were childhood friends, kanade would sing for her as she sewed and practiced her swordsmanship. Once kanade's dad was hospitalized, kanade moved to the capital to be near him. before she left, she exclaimed that mizuki had talent with her blade and could easily find a career in the kingdom's royal guard. The kingdom found themselves in a rescission, Mizuki couldn’t afford to attend school, let alone food. Mizuki left to join the royal guard, leaving to live in the capital. Though her strength far surpassed her peers, instead of praise, she got more hatred. Outcast yet again, she found herself frequenting the castle garden. She sent letters outside of to a pen pal named ‘enanan’, telling her stories of knight training and constant starvation. Weeks after being accepted, Nocrideth's knights found her collapsed on the border after days without food. Queen Asahina offered mizuki a place in the castle, wanting to mold her into a tool. She reunited with kanade at the castle, rekindling their friendship. 3 years later the tragedy struck. Mizuki, now head knight, was tasked to swear full loyalty, Mizuki obliged, knowing that without the castle she would have nothing. Ena was hired by the castle, Mizuki and ena rekindled their friendship, causing, mizuki to feel accepted for once again Her kanade and ena came up with a plan to overthrow queen asahina, saving mafuyu, and the kingdom from doom.
Character Summary

Although they are the same character, the original character is the only canon one (literally just because it’s easier lore wise). The Queen did not negotiate with Toya’s regime, she leased her daughter to it, Mafuyu now forced to sit beside Toya’s throne. While visiting Basquivoid, Mafuyu took interest in the arena. During one of her visits she took a liking to You. She kept an eye on you, monitoring your failed escape time and time again. Eventually made a deal with toya, he gives her You, and he gets a hefty amount of funding for his plans. She now keeps you by her side, out of curiosity, and hope.
